Homemade Soup

Well, I got hungry and didn't want to make a big elaborate dinner that took 30 minutes or longer to cook. There was some tomato soup, so I got a can out. Tomato soup isn't very filling to me. I chopped up some vegetables from my fridge and some lunch meat. It turned out really good and tasty. I should have made more. Drew liked it very much and is beginning to think I got this cooking this down.

Lunch Meat Vegetable Soup
A can of tomato soup
1/4 yellow onion, cut up
1 radish, cut up
1 clove of garlic, cut up
½ inch of celery, cut up into very small pieces
Sprinkle with savory, oregano and pepper
3 slices of lunch meat, cut in large pieces
Cut everything up and put in a sauce pan. Add one can full of water and stir well. Boil for 15 minutes or until vegetables soft. Stir occasionally.

  1. I like the radish idea. We do not use that much at my house. I will try it out.
