In spite of all the things happening to me and my family lately, I have so much to be thankful for; Situations turned out better than expected, no lives were lost, and everyone is doing just as good as before or getting better everyday.
Yet the good in my life is strikingly contrasted by old friends I have spoken to over the months. Bad decisions piled on top of bad decisions. It grieves me to know they have little desire to make better choices or to step up to be the better man/woman that they need to be---for themselves and for others who get caught in the situations their bad decisions bring on.
